The Snowflake-Taylor Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill a Police Officer Position.  This is a full time position that works under the direction of the Chief of Police through a Patrol Sergeant.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  AZ P.O.S.T. Certified Police Officer and Non Certified Applicants are Welcome 

All candidates must successfully complete a written exam, physical fitness test, oral board, and pass a background check, polygraph exam, drug screen, and physical exam.

EDUCATION:  Must 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.  AZPOST Police Certification is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Under supervisor direction, perform daily activities of the patrol unit.  Work is performed in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances, as well as departmental rules and regulations.  Prepare required reports and keep the patrol supervisor informed concerning all matters affecting the value of the assigned unit to include personnel matters, departmental policy and criminal activity.

SALARY:  $39,046 – Starting AZPOST Certified Officer Pay / $34,000 – $36,000 Cadet Officer Pay, after academy $39,046
