Easter Egg Hunters scooped up some 2,100 Easter Eggs along with another 500 prize eggs in this year’s Snowflake/Taylor Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Luckily the hunt just missed the rain. There were Bikes and Easter Baskets that were given out as grand prizes in each of the hunt areas. Special thanks go out to Ace Hardware for their generous contribution. All of the prizes and much of the cost to run the event was donated by Ace. The eggs were again donated by Ed’s Market. Ed’s has donated the eggs since the hunt started some 35 years ago.
Grand Prize Bike winners were: Brynlee Jeppesen, Kayden Cox, Eislyn Damms and Xander Erhart.
The Snowflake/Taylor Recreation and Parks Department would again like to thank all who helped support the event: Ace Hardware, Ed’s Market, Dr.Brian Birtcher, D.D.S., P.C., PFFJ, Farr Plumbing and Dollar General. Many thanks for helping throughout the event goes to Nancy Ruffell and the Snowflake High School National Honor Society. We would also like to thank Alicia Cochran, Laurie Click, Dinah Hall, Melissa Tatman and Valiah Flake for cooking and dyeing the eggs. Last but not least we would like to thank the Snowflake Municipal Golf Course for the use of their facility.
